Last night all hell broke loose when we invited Syn Shamez to fill in for Ryan Augustus and help host the show! In addition to bringing fellow Trails associate TheLin (aka The Fat Giraffe) Syn also came armed with several other surprises including a visit from long time local emcee Bread and also Glen, the owner of Dark Art Emporium. We also chat with Shupe from Sandbag briefly about Rap Night and the new Sandbag album Sloppy Jay’s plus hey, what’s an Appleton Radio show without Ryan Augustus anyway, so he sneaks in, post Portland Phoenix awards, to give us an update who won The Best Hip Hop Act award (spoiler: it wasn’t you). Syn kept the show live and by the end of it we also had Pensivv, Ill By Instinct, and MC 22 in the studio listening in. Quite a few exclusives snuck in the mix too including a brand new Trails track called Bonesaw featuring Misl.
